Did you know humans have a long history with cheetahs?

Thousands of Years Ago
Many pieces of art and cave paintings dating thousands of years ago from ancient cultures show pictures of cheetahs with humans. Ancient Egyptians often had cheetahs living alongside them like a housecat (a domesticated animal). Historically people of royal status from many countries like Italy, Persia (Iran), India and Russian considered cheetahs objects of status and wealth as well as hunting partners.

Italian Renaissance
In the 1400's, Italian renaissance painters painted cheetahs in the scenes on chapel walls.
