ABOUT
Sparking Kids' Curiosity & growing knowledge of nature & wildlife.
Connecting with nature matters more now than EVER.
Research Study: Kids can identify logos & brands more than wildlife & nature.
A 2019 UK study found that by age three, children can recognize roughly 100 brand logos, with this number growing to 1,000 by age ten. Conversely, studies show that many children struggle to identify common local plants and animals, with 83% children (aged 5-16) unable to identify a bumblebee. - World Economic Forum

Backstory:
Cheetah Kids was inspired by a boy who discovered cheetahs at a very young age. He fell in love with their many spots and the fact that cheetahs are the fastest land animal on Earth. He also discovered that cheetahs were struggling to survive and the number of cheetahs in the world was decreasing each year. He decided he wanted to do something to help them.
In 2006, Cheetah Kids was started as an educational online resource when there were very few kid-focused resources to learn about cheetahs and the problems they encountered daily to survive on Earth. Cheetah Kids became a family affair with his younger sister and parents taking up the cause too. Together we hosted community events, sponsored Cheetah Conservation Fund events, raised thousands for CCF, created cheetah focused content, developed products and promoted International Cheetah Day.
The young boy followed his dreams. He got his first job after college at the Cheetah Conservation Fund helping to save cheetahs and lived near wild cheetahs. His sister continues to educate about wild cheetahs, the problematic illegal pet trade of cheetah cubs and aims to correct the spot identification in fashion. Know your spots!
