New Our Story
Cheetah Kids was inspired by a boy named Cameron who discovered cheetahs at a very young age. While doing a project about cheetahs in Kindergarten he fell in love with their many spots and the fact that cheetahs are the fastest land animal on earth. He also discovered that cheetahs were struggling to survive and the number of cheetahs in the world was decreasing each year. Cameron decided he wanted to do something to help them. In 2006, Cheetah Kids started as an educational online resource when there were very few kid-focused resources to learn about cheetahs and the problems they encountered daily to survive on earth. In 2025, we have expanded our focus to the biodiversity of the African savanna and include a vast variety of living species (animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, bugs, plants and vegetation) that make up the ecosystem. Biodiversity is what connects us all!
